The Islamabad court issued a verdict on the Election Commission's application against former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on the Toshah Khana reference issue. Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal of the District and Sessions Court Islamabad issued a decision on the case of the Tosha Khana reference, according to which the application of the Election Commission for criminal action against Imran Khan was approved. In the written judgment, it has been said that the Tosha Khana gifts were hidden in assets by Imran Khan, the declaration submitted by Imran Khan is wrong in Badi Bazaar. The judgment said that Imran Khan did not disclose the details of the gifts and the proceeds from their sale in the declarations.


 In the court decision, it was said that Imran Khan was guilty of violating Section 174 of the Election Act, and the complaint against the former prime minister is approved for a formal hearing. The written judgment said that Imran Khan should appear in person for the trial on January 9.
